St Patrick’s Day Fun

Break out the green! St. Patrick’s Day has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun. Here are some ways to celebrate and make memories.

Make a St. Patrick’s Day Feast 

Have a leprechaun show up in the night and make some trouble for the kids to find in the morning.

  • dye the milk green and leave a box of lucky charms
  • dye the toilet water green
  • unravel toilet paper
  • trails of shamrock confetti or glitter
  • leave gold coins all over the house
  • leave green kiss marks on everyone’s forehead

Go get a Shamrock Shake (or make your own)

Gift a potted Oxalis (shamrock) plant

Try out some Irish dance steps

Enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day movie (Leap Year with Amy Adams is PG-rated family-friendly option)

Make Green Treats

Plan a St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt to find a treasure

Get crafty

Let the shenanigans begin and don’t get pinched!

HERE’S THE DEAL: I hate heights but I still summit mountains and rock climb. 🧗‍♀️🪨 BUT I do have to breathe through it and it’s not easy but I still do it!! 😮‍💨😅 I also am terrified of rattlesnakes and avoid being near them if I can help it! 🐍 You won’t find me becoming a rattlesnake tamer to overcome THAT fear! 😰 So I’d like to know, what is it that you do to push through your fears?

You won’t believe what happened to me and a client while out looking at a house. 😬😳😱 So scary, right?! It was insane and freaked us out! When I called the listing agent his response was, “Oh, I thought the sellers were going to take it out.” I have no words! There’s always an adventure in real estate but thank goodness we were both safe! 😰
