Am I choosing this home, or just escaping my current one?
Will I still feel good about this decision if the market shifts in the next year?
Do I trust the people advising me?

These aren’t deal-breakers – they’re clarity-makers.

Experts just updated their forecast on mortgage rates for 2025 and it could shift the landscape here in Portland.

Fannie Mae projects the 30-year fixed rate will finish 2025 near 6.5%, with a gradual decline to about 6.1% in 2026.

Here’s what that means for our local market:
✔️ Greater affordability could bring more competition for Portland homes.
✔️ Preparing now ensures you’re positioned ahead of the curve when rates ease.
