Tamie Brown

Licensed Oregon Real Estate Agent

Extensive experience and expertise set Tamie apart as an agent and mentor

Tamie has been living and selling real estate in West Linn for over 30 years. What started as a way to supplement family income and save up her children’s college funds turned into a full-fledged career and business. She helped found and build Robbins Realty Group, and now continues to work as an agent and mentor. Tamie’s love of houses is only surpassed by her love of people.

Getting her start working with a builder, Tamie learned the ins and outs of new construction. She expanded to existing homes, falling in love with all their charm and character. She then began working with investors on short sales condos and rehabbing homes. Tamie states that “in all of these activities, what I enjoy most is helping my clients find the perfect home, then watching their family grow and blossom in their new surroundings.” Some of her most gratifying experiences include helping multi-generational family members go through the process of downsizing/selling homes in order to find a new home to enjoy together at this later stage of life.

With her extensive experience and expertise, Tamie can be depended on as a trusted advisor through every step of the process of buying and selling real estate. She has learned to listen, watch and learn in order to help her clients find a home that meets their top priorities of needs and wants. Her clients call out her support and professionalism, and especially her friendship. She is known for being cheerful, dedicated and relentless. ”She goes the extra mile, making herself available to help us work with vendors and problem solve throughout the transaction.”

Tamie has gained extensive knowledge and training in her field, attaining her GRI, Graduate of Realtor Institute. Throughout her career she has enjoyed and benefited from her association with other real estate agents in the West Linn area. She has formed and participates in professional networking organizations, notably the Senior Transition Advisory Group, specializing in helping Seniors manage through their new stage of life.

Tamie has loved working and living in the Portland area; she enjoys the gentle changing of the seasons and proximity to both the Mountains and the coast. West Linn has been an ideal place to raise her family, with its many community activities plus great access to parks and walking trails. She enjoys  walking, sewing, and reading; but what really keeps her busy is spending time and having fun with her  6 children, 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild …and counting!
